For as long as I can remember I have loved nature and had a deep fascination with indigenous cultures because of their strong connection to Mother Earth (Pachamama). It is not surprising then that in 1996 Spirit would lead me to my first teacher, don Americo Yabar, a Peruvian mystic and a master of healing with stones. In fact, my first introduction to energy work was using q’uyas, or power stones, for healing and cleansing heavy energy. The profound experiences I had while connecting to Pachamama in this Andean mystical tradition would forever change my life and soon led me to ceremonies with the Cree and Ojibway First Nations of Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Canada.
Until recently, my holistic journey has been primarily earth-based, working with indigenous wisdom keepers from North and South America while pursuing training in ecological education. After a nine day “Encounter” in February 2008 at don Alverto Taxo’s home in the Andean mountains of Ecuador, I received a message from Spirit that we cannot heal our outer pollution without healing our inner pollution - that the two are intimately connected. Although I had never been drawn to being a practitioner of the healing arts, only focusing on my own healing and earth healing up to that point, this message inspired me to begin training as a Spiritual Counsellor.
While pursuing studies in a Spiritual Counsellor program, I received another message from my HI guidance (higher/inner) that said, “It is time to work with the 12-Strand DNA and the 12 Chakras.” Although I didn’t have a clue at the time what this meant, thus soon began another chapter in my book of life that included connecting to the Angelic realm.
As I continued on with my studies it became very clear that it was teaching I was drawn to rather than working one-on-one with clients. After a series of synchronistic events, I became an Integrated Energy Therapy® (IET) Master-Instructor and began teaching IET workshops in late 2008. I truly believe it was through communing with Archangel Ariel that led me to Simone’s website. I devoured her Wave of Love program, which provided some much appreciated understanding about my DNA/chakra message. The synchronicities came fast and furiously and before I knew it I was registered in the CLH V Teacher’s program and Australia-bound in 2009. Looking back, I find it rather poetic that my spiritual journey began with the mineral kingdom in 1996 and 13 years (or one octave) later I am building relationships with crystals and their powerful crystalline energies.
So … my spiritual path has been laid with stones of synchronicity, one in front of the other, as needed, and not a minute before! Having the courage to follow these signs from Spirit has been my greatest challenge and my greatest growth.
I believe that a good part of our soul’s evolutionary journey on Earth lies in connecting to that centre point within, seeking balance and harmony between our masculine and feminine selves, between the past and the future (to reside in the NOW), between the physical and spiritual, and between the head and the heart ♥ When we are living from this place within, then I believe that ANYTHING is possible!
